Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This policy explains what data tigr collects, why, and what choices you have. It covers two groups: our customers (the teams who use tigr) and their end users (the people using our customers’ apps).
1. Who we are
tigr is a product analytics platform. When you sign up, we act as the controller of your account data. For the analytics events your app sends us, we act as a processor on your behalf, you decide what is collected and why.
2. Data we collect
Account data: your name, email, and the projects you create. Analytics data: the events your SDK sends us, such as page views, custom events, error reports, and technical properties (like referrer or platform). We ask you not to send us sensitive personal data or unnecessary identifiers.
3. How we use data
We use account data to run your account and communicate with you. We use analytics data to produce the metrics, dashboards, and plain-language insights that are the point of the product. We do not sell your data.
4. AI processing
To generate insights, we send aggregated metrics, not raw personal profiles, to our AI processing layer. The AI interprets numbers we have already computed, it is used to describe your data, not to make decisions about individuals.
5. Cookies
Our dashboard uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember preferences like your language. We do not use advertising cookies on the platform.
6. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers who help us run tigr, such as hosting, database, and AI processing providers, under agreements that require them to protect it. We may also disclose data where required by law.
7. Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Analytics event data is retained on a rolling basis, events older than a short window are automatically deleted, so we hold only what is needed for current metrics and insights. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. If you are an end user of an app that uses tigr, please contact that app’s operator first, since they decide what is collected. You can always reach us to help.
